Yeah Friday.  Time for the Weekly History Wrap-Up.

Korean War vet, Myron Brown, received high military honors, way overdue, this week in Florida.

Sixty-one years ago this week, President Truman ordered U.S. troops into the Korean War.

Army Spc. Wilbert Johnson, has finally received the Silver Star for his heroics at the Battle of the Ia Drang Valley in the Vietnam War.  Johnson served in the same unit as Dennis Black, and like Black, was killed at the battle.

War vets are slated to take a bicycle tour of historic World War II battlefields in France.

Sonar technology is now being used to investigate Civil War and World War II shipwrecks off the coast of Virginia and North Carolina.

Step back into the Revolutionary War with the Mather homestead in Darien.
