Weekly History Wrap-Up: 02/11/11.

Friday!  Friday!  Friday!  And time for the History Junkie’s Weekly History Wrap-Up.

Let’s begin with our Vietnam War Vets, and the Legacy of Agent Orange.

Most libraries across the country maintain “special collections,” treasure troves of one-of-a-kind documents and items.  The problem has always been that one had to physically visit these libraries to access the goodies.  Well, maybe not anymore.  The University of Iowa is attempting to digitize its special collection.  And hopefully others will follow suit.

Monkey in the Middle brings us a great piece on the story of the Four Chaplains.

Mark Dowe takes a discerning look at the Nuremberg Trials following World War II.

Michael Phillips posts an interesting glance at the taking of the USS Pueblo.

Til next week.  Have a historical weekend.
